As Salam Alykum,
What was the last time you had a dream(or a nightmare)?. I don’t really remember most of my dreams, but when I do, I remember a lot of it.
It happens that I feel very tired, because in yesterday’s dream I had to do a lot of stuff in. Other time, I am really happy, because my dream was really beautiful.
In a very old dream I had before, I saw some people I know eating human’s meat in the kitchen. This was horrifying. I felt afraid from those people for a while and I couldn’t explain to myself that this was just a dream.
Other time, I spend a normal day, but just while sleeping…
sometimes dreams are just to reflect what is going on here? ..Once I dreamed I lost my arm, This was a terrifying thought..but I remember once I woke up, I didn’t believe that my hand is back. The dream was feeling so real, that It was hard to believe at once that it was just an illusion.
Why I am saying all of this?. The idea is that, whatever how bad was the dream. We let it go, because we know it is just an illusion.
So?. This life is just a deeper dream. As mentioned earlier, I love the quote:
ألا كل شيء ما خلا الله باطل
Indeed, everything except Allah is perishable
So It is good to know that far away from how hard this life is. It’s an illusion in the end. Nothing is true but Allah. Far away from the wars, dark forces, little let downs, hardships, or any harm in general. Always remember this hadith:
Anas bin Malik (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, “Among the inmates of Hell, a person who had led the most luxurious life in this world will be brought up on the Day of Resurrection and dipped in the Fire and will be asked: ‘O son of Adam! Did you ever experience any comfort? Did you happen to get any luxury?’ He will reply: ‘By Allah, no, my Rubb.’ And then one of the people of Jannah who had experienced extreme misery in the life of this world will be dipped in Jannah. Then he will be asked: ‘O son of Adam! Did you ever experience any misery? Did you ever encounter difficulty?’ He will say: “By Allah, no my Rubb, I neither experienced misery nor passed through hardship”.
